One of the greatest inventions of all times is the alphabetic script, and it happened in our region – ancient Canaan. Shortly after, the kingdoms of Judea and Israel were established. Both kingdoms left us written artifacts of various sorts: stone, clay, pottery, metal and more. The script is sometimes carved, sometimes stamped, sometimes written with ink – always exciting.
