Live Zoom Tour of Sussita/Hippos with Julia Newman

The ancient city of Sussita/Hippos was built on a flat-topped foothill near the Sea of Galilee. We will visit an amazing archaeological site, one of the 10 major cities of the Roman Period, which was abandoned and forgotten, and in 1948 became the only Israeli stronghold at the Golan Heights after it was confiscated from Syria by members of Kibbutz Ein Gev. In the end of the tour we shall watch the sunset over the a of Galilee.
