NA’AMAT USA: PALM BEACH COUNCIL CELEBRATE ISRAEL @70 LUNCHEON

Celebrating Israel’s 70th anniverary at its annual Scholarship Luncheon. Highlight honoring Joyce Schildkraut, Boca Raton, as their “Woman of Distinction”.Schildkraut, a Life member, has held numerous national and local positions for NA’AMAT USA. She was instrumental in organizing the Long Island Council of NA’AMAT (formerly Pioneer Women) and serving as its President; national chair of Histadruit, Israel Bonds, S.E. Area National Coordinator as well.
She has served on the national board of NA’AMAT USA for several terms.

Rabbi Raphael Adler, Anshe Shalom Synagogue, guest speaker will discuss “Israel Then and Now”. Musical entertainment by Barbara Evans, popular vocalist, talk show hostess and actress will round out the program.

How the proceeds will be used:

Proceeds will benefit hundreds of educational scholarships to young women in Israel, many studying science, engineering and math. It also presents special research grants to a select group of doctoral candidates. Many of the young women balance rigorous academic research with work and family commitments.
