The annual Celebrate Israel Parade was held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, sponsored by the NY JCRC. AZM, in partnership with WZO, once again had a float and marching contingent in the front televised portion of the parade; celebrating Israel’s 75th anniversary!
The AZM/WZO float was joined by representatives from many of our organizations, including: Hadassah, American Forum for Israel, ARZA, Baltimore Zionist District, B’nai Brith International, Emunah, Hashomer Hatzair, NA’AMAT USA and Young Judaea, as well marchers from the Druze Zionist Organization, Givati Brigade Association and the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven. The TLV Band performed along-side “Theo” the Herzl mascot.
