Naomi Yadin-Mendick has been engaged in pro-Israel and Zionist activism for most of her life, dating back to chairing the Brandeis Zionist Alliance, to working for AZYF, to her involvement with the DC cabinet of the Masorti Foundation, to her long tenure on the board of MERCAZ USA. In addition, she has served as a synagogue president, as chair of the Southwest Seaboard district of USCJ, and is currently on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Naomi has also long served in leadership roles in the DC Jewish community to advance the inclusion of people with disabilities in Jewish communal life. Her professional background in organization development and human resources has informed and enhanced her work as a lay leader in the various organizations with which she has been involved.
