LIVE Tour of The Golan Heights
Join Volunteers for Israel (VFI) Educates! The Golan is a relatively bare basalt plateau of about 1800 sq. kilometers. Sound boring? Well, let us take you on a tour! We will visit Umm El Qanatir – a 1,300 years old restored synagogue, the restoration of which was a top-level technical project. We will see Gamla, a ruined city, which became a home for vultures, we’ll talk about olive oil, and waterfalls in deep canyons – a hikers paradise, and a “little Stonehenge” – all found in the Golan. I promise you won’t be bored, but want to stay even longer!
