Lachish – Where Bible, Archaeology and History come together with Sharona Liman
Among the cities in ancient Judea, Lachish was second only to Jerusalem in importance. Our tour of Tell Lachish will take us from the royal palace and the city’s golden age, to the two tragic destructions described in the Bible: The siege ramp and the counter ramp of Sennacherib and Hezekiah, and the last effort to withstand Nebuchadnezzar at the gate of the city.
