Preparing for Campus: Jewish Students and Zionism in Today’s Universities

Please join NA’AMAT USA on Wednesday, September 25th for a virtual program titled, “Preparing for Campus: Jewish Students and Zionism in Today’s Universities.” Join us for a virtual panel with speakers from Hillel International, Stand with Us, and Mothers Against College Antisemitism to learn about what’s happening on campus and how organizations are working to support Jewish and Zionist students.

Emma Law-Oppman is the Director of Strategy and Development for MACA (Mother’s Against College Antisemitism), leading efforts in combatting antisemitism on college campuses. With a background as an attorney, she has redirected her focus towards Jewish advocacy, dedicating her life to combating antisemitism. Emma is actively involved in her local Jewish community and serves on various boards and committees. She aims to raise awareness about college antisemitism and inspire action against hate.

Chloe Levian is a passionate Jewish nonprofit professional committed to combating antisemitism, empowering college student leaders, and educating about Israel. Chloe serves as the Senior Southwest Campus Regional Manager at StandWithUs, mentoring the next generation of Jewish college student leaders. She is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Jewish Nonprofit Management and actively educates about Jewish diversity, Israel, and antisemitism on social media as @ThatPersianJew.

Lisa Armony is the executive director of Hillel International’s Campus Climate Initiative. She partners with administrators on college campuses throughout the country to improve the campus climate for Jewish students and all students. Lisa has a background in strategic planning, educational, and communications positions for Jewish organizations in Canada and the U.S. Lisa is a graduate of Cornell University and holds multiple degrees in Political Science, Israel Experiential Education, and Jewish and Israel Education. She is dedicated to supporting Jewish students on college campuses and promoting interfaith collaboration.
