PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SPRING 2021:

You can help shape the future of Zionist education and get rewarded! 

Do you have an idea which you believe can strengthen Jewish identity or connection to the State of Israel, designed to impact children and youth in the diaspora? Then we have something for you!

Turn your innovative vision into action by submitting a proposal on how educators in the diaspora can implement new creative methods to enhance Jewish/Israel education.

Educators:  Submit a project idea with a focus on engaging youth (up to age 18) in Zionism.

Finalists will present their projects to a panel of national educational experts.  

The winners from the United States, will then receive a trip to Israel* where they will then compete again for International recognition (and to be featured in promotional materials by WZO and the AZM), along with the grand prize:

First prize: $8,000, Second prize: $5,000, Third prize: $2,500 USD

*Subject to travel restrictions

PROGRAM DETAILS

1. The project submitted is intended to benefit children and youth in formal or informal education (up to the age of 18). The submission can integrate formal and informal education;

2. The main activity of the venture will be to strengthen Jewish identity and/or connection to the State of Israel among children and youth, including in schools, synagogues, summer camps, JCCs, etc.;

3. The venture must be innovative and original in at least one of the following aspects: idea, pooling of resources, expanding the circle of learners, embedding knowledge, deepening knowledge, collaboration, etc.

4. The applicant or group of applicants must have experience in Jewish and formal or informal Zionist education.
