Bring Purim Joy to Soldiers & Frontline Workers in Israel

On February 25-26, 2021 (14 Adar 5781) we celebrate Purim. For many years the AZM “Purim Connection” program has helped maintain the bond connecting the Jewish people and land of Israel by sending Mishloach Manot packages to those living in and protecting Eretz Yisrael.

This year we provided Mishloach Manot to frontline responders to the COVID-19 pandemic in Israel. This brought some holiday joy and, in a small way, thanked them for their service maintaining the health and wellbeing of all Israelis. The packages were distributed by our partners in Israel, to both healthcare workers and to soldiers in the IDF Homefront Command and other units protecting the country. We want to say thanks for these guardians of Israel, carrying on an important tradition and fulfilling an important mitzvah.

We thank our partners in Israel: Amit, the Israel Forever Foundation; YAHAD/United for Israel’s Soldiers; and Yashar LaChayal.

The personal messages and contributions helped frontline workers and soldiers to feel supported by the Diaspora.

A single Purim basket costs $18. We hope you will consider a gift of at least $180, so we can provide as many as possible. Every contribution will help a frontline worker and soldier to feel supported by the Diaspora.

To make a donation, please fill out the form below. You can include a personal message that will be delivered with the basket.
