DONATE NOW: Purim 2013 Heads South to Ashkelon and Beyond

It was just a few short weeks ago that Israeli children in the southern part of the country were terrorized by missile attacks numbering in the hundreds. Many lived in safe rooms and shelters for close to two weeks. There was no school to attend. The sanitary and living conditions were primitive. And the rockets kept coming. Yet the children found it within themselves to stand up to the attacks and resumed their lives as soon as they were able. It takes a special strength to do this: Jewish strength supported by a Zionist spirit.

New Leaders Elected at AZM Biennial Assembly 2012

On Friday, May 18th, ViZionYLD (AZM’s Young Leadership Division) co-sponsored a very successful, intimate Zionist Shabbat dinner with B’nai B’rith International. The 18 young professionals who attended agreed that the ability to have a meaningful Shabbat discussion about social justice and Zionism in such a small group made the evening a truly unique one.

This Year Add a New Dayenu to Your Seder

World Zionist Organization Mobilizes for Southern Israel

Following the escalation in rocket attacks on southern Israel, the WZO brought hundreds of schoolchildren from the south to Jerusalem. The students, from grades 1-12, will explore the city with a guide to accompany them. Among the places the students will visit is the WZO’s Herzl Museum and Educational Center, located on Har Herzl (Mt Herzl).
